Kelly’s journey to establishing a unique firm began in 2005 when she became a financial advisor. Driven by her desire to help people feel empowered to achieve great things in their lives, Kelly pursued her career with passion. In 2009, she earned her CFP® certification.

Working at a large, well-known investment firm, Kelly’s strong work ethic and genuine desire to connect with people helped her build significant client relationships. Her dedication led to notable account growth and several promotions.

By 2016, Kelly felt it was the right time to start her own firm. She partnered with Becky to create LynnLeigh & Company. Their research showed that the financial services industry often neglected the individual investor’s best interests. Kelly’s vision for the firm focused on making clients comfortable with asking questions about investments and financial planning while ensuring full transparency regarding financial advisor compensation.

Caring for people has always been a cornerstone of Kelly’s work. Since 2012, she has been an active member of the Rochester Women’s Giving Circle and served as the Committee Chair for The Derby at the Country Village and Museum, an equine event that raises charitable funds. Additionally, she is a member of Rochester’s Estate Planning Council.

For Fun

Kelly's love for thoroughbred horses and farming shines through in her limited spare time. Her husband, Gene, shares this passion, having founded Karma Sauce, a nationally acclaimed, award-winning hot sauce company. Their Finger Lakes farm grows peppers, tomatoes, squash, and more. On weekends, you'll often find Kelly, Gene, and their children, Grace and Liam, pulling weeds, running tractors, and performing various farm chores to cultivate their hot sauce ingredients.

Each year, Kelly brings her passions together for her clients at the Genesee Valley Hunt Races, an equine steeplechase event. LynnLeigh & Company hosts a tent where clients can enjoy the picturesque setting, relax, and socialize with the LynnLeigh & Company team while sampling delicious food, drinks, and Karma Sauce. Kelly warmly invites everyone to attend—just give her a call first!
